How long does coaching last?
There is no set time limit on coaching. For those who want to address specific targeted problems, two to three sessions may be all that is necessary. For those who want to work on general leadership development, several months may be necessary. Comprehensive coaching may take even longer.

What is the cost of coaching?
Some coaches working with large corporations may charge hundreds of dollars per session. Unfortunately, for those working in non-profits agencies and camps, coaching is simply not feasable - the cost of such a coaching relationship cannot be afforded.
Prices are $65 for a fifty-minute session. This puts quality coaching in the price range of most camp administratos.

What is the standard coaching protocol?
A coaching agreement is completed; this includes a set number of phone sessions and a scheduled time for these sessions.
Leaders complete an intake package that includes goals, perceived leadership challenges, and autobiographical information.

Most leadership coaching collaborations make use of an evaluation completed anonymously by several employees and co-workers to help pinpoint leadership challenges. It is a recognized fact that the leader is often the last person to be aware of his or her weaknesses in leadership and that employees and co-workers have better insight into a leader's problems. Research has shown that the higher one's position in a company, the less likely he or she is to receive honest feedback on leadership skills and style from peers and employees.
