Why coaching for those in the camping industry?

There are thousands of leadership coaches available. Unfortunately, most are targeted at large organizations that can afford the expense of coaching, or they are hired by individuals with an average minimum salary of $60,000.
Those in the camping industry are well aware that coaching is simply beyond the reach of most of its leaders. However, the need and desire for leadership improvement in this field still exists. Thus we attend conferences, workshops, and read books on leadership. But the most dramatic changes take place within the confines of a supportive relationship. A productive coaching relationship can achieve much more and in a shorter period of time in comparison to our customary outlets for leadership development.
